Their security is probably better if on a USB stick in your pocket than
on a drive on an easily accessible machine, but of course require
careful treatment and management.

you have multiple identities grouped into one entry for any of them?
I find that I can't apparently change the Alias of a collapsed entry, I
need to expand it.
It's not very consistent though. I'm using 2.4.1 on Linux for
information, I haven't tried this with Pidgin on Windows.

was pointing out that leaving a supposedly 'secure' system in a state
where it is not protected by a pass phrase with a suitable entropy
comparable with the effort required to brute force the encryption
doesn't get you very far.

If you look in the .purple directory under your user directory, you may
find them in the accounts.xml file if Pidgin is set to remember them.
So look in C;\Documents and Settings\AppData\.purple\accounts.xml
assuming you are using Windows.

I've looked at this today for Fedora 11, and despite apparently having
everything installed I can't see any obvious menu entries that would
start either voice or video chats.
Looks like more investigation or waiting until the people that know fix
things up.

is in the Facebook plugin. You'll need to ask the developer
of that plugin what the problem is, it is not part of the Pidgin core
release so we can't help you here.
