hi! i would like to know how i can manage lists from icq in pidgin
(always visible = these contacts can see your real status also if you
are invisible) ... on which menü in pidgin can i do that; because i
want to make someone see me also when i am invisible (icq) in pidgin!
i thank you for you
I'm confused... are you using Pidgin's purple-remote command? Or are you
receiving an XMPP message that was created by JavaScript somewhere? It's
not clear to me how you're using JavaScript to start a conversation.
In either case, have you tried passing in a space instead of %20?
Hello,I am using _javascript_ to call XMPP to start a conversation with body text already populated. The code passes in %20 instead of a space between words but Pidgin is not interpreting it as a space. Is there any way to get a space instead of %20.Regards,John L. KelloggJohn Kellogg | Senior

Hi,
I have a few questions about using Pidgin:
* Is there a way to list all the users that are currently connected to
the same IRC server that you are in Pidgin?
* Is there a way to prevent users of the Pidgin client from entering
IRC commands? They should only be allowed to

I have three desktop pc's running windows Vista Home Premium x64 that
are loosing their contacts in the Buddy List.
Two of the three will work again if you just close Pidgin and re-open
it. One of the pc's did this for a while also but jus recently that
didn't work anymore and we had to delete
When I try to connect with Pidgin it says read error immediately. I'm using

I asked what sort of account because I knew that without that
information, no one would be able to help, but I do not know why you
cannot connect, so I cc'ed the support list in hopes that someone else
would be able to help you

When you click a name on your buddy list and start typing, a small box opens up
near the bottom of the buddy list. When you hit enter, nothing happens. Is
there supposed to be a purpose for this, and if so what the hell is it?
