TOR/Privacy (SOCKS5) or SOCKS5?

Hello, What's the difference between "TOR/Privacy (SOCKS5)" and "SOCKS5" in proxy settings? Can i use just SOCKS5 to connect through TOR (127.0.0.1, port 9050)? Unfortunately, I didn't find anything in Google and in your FAQ. Thank you!___

Hello, I am using the portable version Pidgin which I got from PortableApps.com. I see on their Pidgin Portable Support page that if I have version 2.7 or later it is possible to have spell-check by downloading an Apache OpenOffice dictionary
