The <> chracters are not allowed in the XML element node and you have
to either
1. quote them as &gt; or &lt;
2. Include them in CDATA sections:
<trans-unit>
 <source>![CDATA[For security reasons...</p>]]</source>
 <target>![CDATA[Por razones de seguridad...]]</target>
 </trans-unit>
If you do not quote them translations breaks altogether (no
translation works).

It's not a good practice to include formating code in the translation
text, avoid it if possible.
