*Job Titile : Java Developer with Lead Location : Washington ,DC Duration : 6 Months Contract* *Rate : $40/hr on C2C* *This is a Consultant Lead J2EE developer position for a large service company. This role will mentor other junior developers as well as be responsible for all technical development of J2EE applications. As a J2EE Senior Developer, you will be a key participant in the design and development of various enhancements and strategic projects. Our solution is deployed in a Solaris environment using Sun Application Server v 9.2, and an Oracle 11g database requirements.* *Responsibilities: Provides advanced-level J2EE development skills to client engagements Provides strong unit testing, debugging, and documentation skills Independently manages individual time and tasks Understands and manages SDLC for development projects Develops Design Documentation Conducts code walkthroughs and peer reviews code developed by team members Creates J2EE solutions to meet business needs Produce detailed bug reports Effectively communicate with QA Manager and project team members . Should be able to effectively co-ordinate with offshore test team on daily basis and align performance against plan esponsible verification and validation of test cases, test data and scripts. Walkthroughs of Reported Defects weekly status showing the progress of the automation testing effort Uploading test script and executing scripts from QC Escalate bugs, document and track them in bug repository* *Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of J2EE design and development experience, 5 years of Java development experience, including creation of Java Server Pages (JSPs), servlets, and Enterprise Java Beans (EJBs). Very strong object-oriented design and development experience, specifically in the area of J2EE design patterns such as Model View Controller, Command pattern, Session Facade, Data Access Object pattern, etc. Experience with Java Profiling, JProbe, Perform Assure, Load Runner is a plus. Experience writing SQL and using JDBC to connect to relational databases. Experience deploying solutions to a unix platform, preferably including Sun Solaris. Experience over the full software development lifecycle. Experience estimating the duration of design and development tasks. Very Strong written and oral communication skills.
