6 months Contract . We are looking for a Sr. Java Developer with strong hands on experience with CIFS (Common Internet File Systems) development protocol to assist in the implementation of a core product line deployed across internal customers. The selected individual will be responsible for developing CIFS solutions for complex distributed systems in an enterprise scale Linux environment. This product handles large volumes of data so prior experience developing advanced data structures and usage of algorithms is key. These solutions run over TCP/IP, so strong a strong Java development background with a focus on networking and systems level programming is key, to be successful in this role. You will work as part of a team developing focusing on the CIFS portion of the product line. * 7+ years of Java based object oriented development experience in a highly complex distributed environment * 5+ years of system level design and development experience for Java based networking solutions in a Linux environment * 3+ years CIFS (Common Internet File System) protocol experience, including end-to-end implementation experience with CIFS * Excellent understanding and working experience with of TCP/IP * Solid development experience with SMB (Server Message Block) * Strong experience with advanced data structure and usage of algorithms * C/C++ development experience a plus * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Bachelors of Science, Masters highly preferred.
