REQ: Jr. Project Manager and Sr. Deployment Manager :: Owings Mills, MD :: 6 Months Plus Jr. Project Manager Location: Owings Mills, MD Duration: 6 months + Responsible for defining project scope, guidelines, and coordination of resources to execute project. In addition, the Project Manager will communicate deliverables/milestone, and will direct staff internally and/or externally to ensure on-time, on-budget, and in spec delivery of product/project. Project Managers understand a multitude of methodologies and have a strong technical background. Furthermore, they have the ability to participate in client presentations. The Jr. Project Manager position will support all dimensions of project administrative activities, work closely with the Sr. Project Managers and ensure project success for multiple projects under a program. This will include: • Establishing and maintaining project performance metrics and measures; • Coordinating the documentation of management process; • Maintaining the project library; • Perform budget tracking and entry as needed; • Coordinate and track project communications; • Maintain the project schedule and milestones; • Document and track status meeting minutes and activities; • Document and track lessons learned; • Support executive level reporting. • Assist with business and technical requirements; developing requirements traceability matrices and conference room pilots • Facilitate and refine critical processes related to project and program management as well as the software development life cycle (SDLC). This associate will work under the direction of a Program Manager and Project Manager and may also serve as the Project Manager for isolated components of a larger project. This resource will work as part of a matrix project team and partner with both a project manager and technical delivery manager. The resource should expect to lead command center activities, resolution of customer issues, resolution of deployment impacting test issues, development of issues reporting protocol for users along with a comprehensive deployment and back-out plan. Resource will work with internal and/or external parties to organize components of a major project. Duties include coordination of schedules and activities, tracking progress, and reporting results.
