Hello, I have installed Tesseract 3 (svn release 590) on a fresh Ubuntu 10.04. I have followed the installation steps but when I try to do a : # tesseract Capture.tif output.txt -l chi_sim I get in my console : Error opening data file /usr/src/tesseract-ocr-read-onlytessdata/ engtesseract.traineddata Tesseract Open Source OCR Engine v3.01 with Leptonica Error in pixReadFromTiffStream: can't handle bpp > 24 Error in pixReadStreamTiff: pix not read Error in pixReadTiff: pix not read
I put the image Capture.tif on : http://tinypic.com/r/2rfuj4h/7 Do you have any ideas about what's wrong ?
