WhereIsIt was a nice piece of software. However, I rarely used it. Isntead, I had rather quickly given up ...not on WhereIsIt but on the concept of using discs for storage altogether. Once on usb drives, I never looked back. Therefore, I would say such a usecase is *total* overkill. I would not
