I like your thinking! I've been using Ultimate Ears UE10pros for years
and they are the most amazing in-ear monitors. I'd love to know how the
newest ones compare.
I'd probably take 50% off a Touch right now though!
Hi triode and lake_eleven.
I seem to have a similar problem with my setup.
SB Touch with EDO
Powered USB hub
AudioWidget with pcm5102 DAC from Yoyodyne Consulting by George
Bouderau.
O2
When running the DAC in UAC2 mode the SQ is fine but the SBT decides to
output the 44.1khz media at 48khz.

I tried both hotpugging and reboot using tt -rbt
Is this a folder location, I could not find it.
I think the only problem here is the potential bug showing it having a
hub when it is not there - this is probably only accurate if you don't
hot plug the device and look at

Not sure what you mean by touch navigating away from NAS - do you mean
like in switching libraries to USB?
NAS does have one other program - Twonky media, this is for streaming to
my WDTV live. Curiously when I re-enabled LMS, I noticed that Twonky
media was disabled. I
Thanks!
I failed to mention that I was trying to avoid installing/running LMS.
With the Squeezebox Touch I was after a simple networked player that
could hook into Spotify/Deezer/USB hard drive/etc without the need for
running a computer (i.e. LMS).
Anyway, I ran the test as suggested and it

This is with EDO and no TT3 installed? If not could you remove TT3 and
reinstall EDO - it needs to use the priority settings which are part of
EDO.

I installed TT3.0, changed priorities in tt file to logiotech default,
then installed EDO. I will try uninstalling TT and

I don't know the device, but if uac 1 mode makes it use full speed then
you will need an external hub - can you confirm the momentary frequency
changes? For uac2 does the info display show the wrong frequency? This

I have a new Touch, and it runs the latest OP. I have had it set up to
run directly from the Touch to the my receivor using the analogue outs.
I also have a $200 DAC and I thought I would experiment with a 75 ohm
coax cable (with the RCA plugs) from the Touch to my DAC and then to the
receivor,
I'm really tempted to order a Ref 5.2 so I can hook up my Touch directly
via EDO/USB instead of getting a converter for my current EE Minimax
DAC.
I'm just wondering if there is a lot to be gained soundwise over Touch's
S/PDIF with TT3.0. Can it rival with a good USB converter connected
directly
John,
It should just work. Which $200 DAC do you have? Are there any lights on
it to indicate lock status of the various data rates? If so, what do
you observe on those lights? Are there multiple inputs to select the on
the DAC for various input connections? Are you sure you have selected
