Stop spinning.
Just use your computer if that is what you want. I have no problem with
that. You can even use your computer as a LMS server.
I use SB Touch + Triode's EDO app coax out into a DAC. I feed my Touch
from a Synology NAS.
I play back hi res material up to 176/24 with what I consider
Thanks Bob. I may have found a way to upsample in SOX in another thread.
If that doesn't work, I may return to computer-based upsampling.

YEP. I think I finally found something I can use, so will read up on
this thread + sox-documentation:

Hi Bob.
Do you run LMS and Inguz on your NAS?
Just curious as I would like to see if I could have the SB Touch fed
with upsampled files from the server.

No tweaks to TT before installing it. No vollock, though. However, I do

Thanks Guido! I'll look into these.

I have no idea if Inguz may be made relevant for the purpose of making
SB Touch export upsampled audio to my Metrum DAC.
I would greatly appreciate an answer - Phil Leigh or Bob(ertuk) may be
the persons that could answer this shortly and sweetly.

Thanks for the reply. Sox seems the way to go.

Guido.
Thanks. D#243; you tweak TT 3.0 in any way before you install it after
the Triode app?

Triode and Soundcheck.
Both if you: thanks for the good work!
I now have EDO working in my system with a Metrum Octave DAC. I will
apply Soundcheck mods later. I run 7.7.2 and have SB Touch do the work
as my server/network was not up to the task with 176/24 flac.
The config is:

I changed the FLAC settings from native to sox and now the 176/24 Love

supported by the Metrum Dac - although some users have reported that
their Metrum Octave DAC will lock on 192/24 material.

Could you please clarify? Which Soundcheck mods make the Touch more
digital-sounding? This is news to me.

Hello.
Sorry if this have been covered before. I did search.
I have an SB Touch with the Triode enhanced digital out installed. I
also will soon have a Metrum Octave DAC attached via coax out.
Now, I would like to know if I can make Logitech Media Server upsample
all my music to either 176/24
Triode.
Thanks for the quick answer (and the app!).
Unfortunately Linux code is far from my strongest point. Any other
inputs on this?

I have not started the build yet as I have another must have box to buy

report back once I have bought the ingredients and have become a

Bob.
So are you using the John Swenson design or the Logitech Wall Wart?
I also see some interesting DIY projects in your signature. A modded Nap

I am about ready to buy the ingredients, only I am such a noob that I
don't know how many of each part to get. But I'll
Thanks guys!
Very helpful indeed!
I wonder what the part number is for the black cat?
And what the sq effect of that is?

Hi there.
I will want to build a psu for my SB Touch, and I have followed numeous
threads on that exact topic in far too many forums - and now my head is
spinning from all that information.
Now, I have immense respect for John Swenson (and a few other regular
contributors to this forum) and I
Triode.
Thank you! I'll test this when I have a proper DAC in the houuse. I have
no idea if my lowly Aune DAC even supports 24/192.
