Had been using the setting to decode FLAC and WAV files on the server
ever since I bought SBT. Out of curiosity, changed the setting to decode
FLAC files on touch. The sound is more detailed now with lesser digital
harsh. There is a overall improvement in the presentation. I am using

With only EDO there is no clicks or pops. When combining EDO and TT 3.0
is when the clicks come in.

I updated touch to 7.8. Installed TT 3.0, installed EDO. I use HRT II+
USB DAC with hub. I am getting clicks and pops. Commented the priority
line in rcs.local file as suggested by John Swenson. Still I get the
clicks. Any suggestions?.
Is there a way to turn off wireless altogether without using TT3.0. Will
it be of any benefit to the sound by doing so.

Edited the file /etc/init.d/rcS.local
DO not comment out the wlan start lines. You need to reset SBT to
connect again. let me know if you hear any difference in sound.
After going thru some threads, this is what I finally did to turn off
wlan in /etc/init.d/rcS file.

I connected HRT MS II+ DAC directly to the touch without the hub. The
sound was much refined with low noise floor. it was a really big
difference.
Will there be a fix from Logitech or other 3rd party to deal with this
issue of needing to use hub to connect an async dac.

Every time I reboot the SBT using the command tt -rbt, EDO prompts to

HUH, this soldering this is not for me. Skrewed up again. My analog
stage is completely gone. Digital out to the rescue!. Will soon start
to look for a decent external DAC.
