An observation, what I'm seeing on vivid isn't just the LED, the
messaging indicator icon actually isn't being changed after clearing the

it so that I do not have this issue every day on YouTube. However,

Launching an application that you don't have locked on the launcher is
extremely painful. And we don't want to fill up the launcher with dozens
of icons, right? because it would become essentially useless.

I was pretty sure 1) worked at some point. but I don't know when it
might have broken. Maybe I'm just misremembering that, or am remembering
correctly and just got lucky to have it work. Maybe 2) never worked
either.

I was just waiting to see if I got the same problem as Adam at all... So
far so good. I just don't want Adam's problem to be propagated. Adam:
are you filing a new bug report? Is it ok if I tag it as verification-
done?
Also, I saw the other two bugs, but I wasn't initally affected
It's a proprietary application. I'll first try to create a small test
case. If that doesn't work, will objects stripped of symbols and
debugging be sufficient for looking at the problem?

Would be nice to test if the problem still occurs with compiz
0.9.12.0+15.04.20141219-0ubuntu1. It contains a fix for some issues with
nvidia driver 331.
