By chance (while developing some netplan code), I seem to have found a
reproducer for this bug... I don't know what is going on, but calling
the 'Trigger' method from the attached 'dbus.c' file will kill the GDM
session in a reproducible way.
The invalid `kill(-1, SIGINT);` of line 21, seems to
Oh.. I wasn't really aware of that (-1 = all) and it looked so similar.
Right, so we still somehow need to find a proper reproducer...

Yes, the regressions seem to be unrelated to this change. Some can be
resolved by retriggering. Others might need an updated kernel package
(e.g. the 404 errors seem to be fixed in linux 4.15.0-136.140)

So the regression tests are looking good so far. I'm currently still
verifying that the regression with the linux kernel on Intel (404s) is

I've tested systemd 245.4-4ubuntu3.13 from focal-proposed in a VM and
can verify it is working as expected.

all the fully unprivileged tests need to be disabled on
cgroup v2. You can't run fully unprivileged containers on pure cgroup2
layouts. The delegation model doesn't allow it. Not without systemd
making a fully empty delegated cgroup hierarchy available.

location in the code (still inside the on_query_timeout handler).

systemd VS network-manager autopkgtests (in LXD) fail, because the
autopkgtest-virt-lxd runner tries to wait for "network ready" before it
is reconnecting after a reboot.

really able to reproduce the problem locally. Maybe I'm missing this
special network packets?
