I don't feel I have enough info to do much about putting a framework into

Hi Kelvin,
Thanks for creating the component for Jiras... I agree we need to amend the
names to cope with different spec / implementation versions
We need to agree on:
- SVN module - propose java/cts/sdo2.1
- allow for java/cts/sdo30 java/cts/sca (if needed) in the
future

I like the fist break out that Jeremy proposed as I see there may be issues with
keeping all this organized and lets give this a shot and see how well we
manage it. After a while if we think things are going smooth start breaking out
extensions on their own.
I do hope we can organize it to
Hi all,
This has probably been answered on this list before, but I can't find
the info - how do I stop maven needing a network connection? I'm
running the calculator-combo sample and finding that it fails if I'm
not connected due to an unable to resolve artifact error.
I'm sure the answer is to

Not 100% sure if this is what your asking for but -o for offline? But I'll
offer it anyway.

Which artifact is it unable to resolve?

Hi,
I guess there is a variable offline that you must set to true when
running the launcher to run the samples. java -jar bin\launcher
offline=true I checked up with the code for the system.getProperty it
uses and I find 'offline' there as well. So hope this works for you.:)

To fix them we would need to update the build to include the files
which means respinning the source distro and hence the whole thing.
We have an aggregrated javadoc jar already so I think we should just
remove them.

The samples parent pom issue still seems to be there with the M2 RC2
artifacts. I needed to first run mvn -N install from the top-level
samples directory in order to get mvn or mvn dependency:unpack for
each sample to work. I didn't see anything in the samples readme
about this. It would be

Thanks Venkat,
Unfortunately however, this doesn't work - I get the same exception.
It does seem to give some different maven log messages however, so it
does do something!

Andy, the offline mode is set via a Java system property so you need to
prefix it with -D, eg:
C:\Tuscany\Dist\m2-samples\standalone\calculator-combojava -Doffline=true
-jar target\distribution\bin\launcher.jar target\sample-calculator-combo.jar
For that to work you must have first run the
Also, speculating that you may want the calculatorws to also run offline you
can do that by rebuilding the calculatorws sample with the following two
changes:
calculatorws\src\main\webapp\WEB-INF\web.xml add:

param-valuefalse/param-value
