I fell down this just today. It is not as good as I want it to be, but
given my weakness for the genre not bad enough to make me stop watching. It
seems like they are trying to give Keifer a comic side, but if so it was
very, very thin. I don’t mind flashbacks in principle, but these were not
done
Keifer is once again exasperated and on the run. It’s actually better than
it seemed at first glance, but the constant flashbacks make me want to give
up on television altogether. But worse than the flashbacks is the musical
score… the sound mix is beyond bad. Thank the good Lord for subtitles.
As the mother of Quinta Brunson's Janine, it was revealed at a PaleyFest
panel Saturday (same place as that "Yellowstone" mixup where only a few
costars showed up instead of Costner *et al*)... it airs a week from Wed.
