I can't verify this. I just fired up Win 2K and IE6 in VMware and had no
issues at all. I am attaching a screenshot for proof on this one.

Binary package hint: xorg
Upgraded to edgy from Dapper, needed to reinstall mythtv, inavertently removed
ubuntu-desktop in the process. Tried to reinstall through Synaptic and apt-get
install, informs there is a dependency on xorg...

I tried the install again after filing this bug and then it worked.
Maybe the first crash was caused by the CD drive - it seemed like it had
a little trouble reading the CD-RW that the installer was on.
