After a clean install and installing the various packages one by one I
found that it has nothing to do with depmod apparently. I just happen to
always install fglrx along with kernel restricted modules. All that it
is is that the restricted modules are needed in order for the wireless
networking
I tried yesterday on feisty, the bug is still present for my card.
How can i help ?

My Mozilla browser does NOT crash usually, but when my DSL Internet got
disconnected, Mozilla browser tried to reconnect, and when it failed to
reconnect, it started using up all of the CPU before crashing.

Totem has been crashing regularly - or worse still causing a system lock
that I have to crash out of by resetting the computer. Alt-F2 and
Ctrl-Alt-Backspace didn't work, so no crash files were generated.

* If i have set my static IP-adresses with network-admin nm-applet keeps
on saying that i have no network connection.

I have the same problem on Feisty at KDE, multilangauge support does not
work for me om text editors (Edgy is working fine with the same config).
Gnome was working fine 3 days ago too, but the last thing I have
noticed, that you cannot switch language, if you will push to 'language'
option,
I've added information on the backup procedure. Could someone confirm
there is a problem? How to successfully restore Evolution ff there is no
problem?

Since last week I can not more upgrade Feisty. Always I get below strange lines

Yeah, it looks like installation of nautilus-bzr was removed
altogether.
That might actually be a good situation for the time being. Nautilus-bzr

1) The hostap_cs module is blocked by another module (like prism2_cs/orinoco_cs)
2) The hostap_cs failes to probe a card (as of a missing pcmcia id/string)

No problems with loading the 6.10 live-cd.
The screen comes with 1280x1024 resolution.
When I try to change to 1024x768 (pushing Apply) the following happens :
- the screen changes to 1024x768 BUT hangs (no mouse-movement possible)

Yes, both Dapper and Edgy used those keys without any trouble. Feisty
has also used them well until the recent upgrade. No, the layout
switching in KDE (or choosing any variant) has not helped in any way -
the problematic keys are still not working.
Note that most of the accent keys work - only
the result of the catching output from xsane in Dapper is attached.
