The problem appears to have come back, after definitely being fixed a week or
so ago. In Bookmarks Manager there is no drag-n-drop or right-click
functionality in the left-hand pane. I can still cut/copy/paste from Edit menu,
however. Will try running debug sometime today.

I googled around a bit and found out that the sound works if I edit
/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base
and add the line
options snd-hda-intel model=3stack
then sound works fine.
Please do this adjustedment in the alsa driver part of the kernel
for easy reference I have attached the output of lspci -vvnn

No the shutdown doesn't allways work either.
I just suspected sudo usplash to fix something (It allways works in
x), but I cannot say anything for sure now. For the moment I had 3 boots
in a row with splash (and 2/3 shutdowns.)

Kristian to find the cause of mitja 's crash we need his crash report.
Most if not all Feisty firefox crashes apport files the bug as [apport]
firefox-bin crashed with SIGSEGV in raise() However that does not mean
they are the same in any way.

actually fix it unless the crash report is attached. Could both of you
