and lo and behold, the screen resolution was set to 1024x768 without any
option to set a higher screen resolution, not even after installing the
nvidia driver.
Crazy was to CrazyTerabyte not to you. we update packages as fast as
possible. Im not saying we are flawless but we as in ubuntu are always looking
for more people to help out with packaging and fixing bugs or just helping in
forums or on iRC but we cant get everything fixed right a way. If
This seems to have been fixed in the latest updates in gutsy:
$ aptitude changelog gnome-desktop
Get:1 ChangeLog of gnome-desktop [53.3kB]
Fetched 53.3kB in 0s (58.0kB/s)
$ aptitude changelog foo
E: Couldn't find a changelog for foo
I'm closing the bug as fixed released. If
I have also attached a screenshot. You can see that the bold fonts
affects everything in the Firefox window. Not just the text on the page,
but the window title bar, the menus, the address bar, and the status
bar.

hey chuck, unfortunately it seems bootlogd is disabled and upstart-logd is now
logging my boot process, If you can help me find a solution to log what is
going on during boot I will supply any information needed.
