The problem only happens to me if the system monitor window is increased
in size and the resources tab is open. When the window is smaller or at

The problem is definitely in the driver. It has to do with the way that
initialization happens. It only polls for the device if it's turned on.
Needs to be rewritten to allow proper detection. This bug will need to
be dealt with upstream rather than in Ubuntu.

Please see bug #202453 regarding atheros+network-manager problems, there
was a change in network-manager that broke atheros access. If you can't
manually configure using iwconfig you may have a different problem. I
am using Ubuntu 2.6.24-12.22-generic with atheros and fglrx.

I just tested around a little bit:
If I start a KDE 4 application from a konsole I see the following error
messages:
Cannot establish the socket connection...
Failed to initialize scim
Failed to allocate the agent. Exitting...

Attached a RM file. Please import it into Rythmbox. You'll see that the
metadata is not displayed correctly (as shown in the screenshot).

Hi,
I did have the same problem this morning on Hardy... Changed /home/root
to /root and it worked
Yesterday I had problem with my root user, had an expire account notice
when trying to run terminal as root. I defined a password manually in
user-groups and the expiration notice disappeared...
here's the svg. I can open it in inkscape without problems...

Ok... Sorry for that... The newest version totem-xine (2.22.0-0ubuntu2)
plays both streaming and real media files flawlessly in hardy alpha 6...
