I'm having the same problem with a couple of DL380 G4s.
The fix involving the removal of sym53c8xx drivers worked on an older G1
we have, but yields no results on the newer machines.
I just keep getting back to the partition editor which says things like

OK, this workaround does it also for me.
Seems to be really only a problem of the colors. Text and background colors are
the same.

I tried building the way they show on the site and when I run make I get
pretty much a similar error although mine is a lot longer. The last bit
seems to be the same. I've attached my output if anyone cares to see.

please describe the steps you took to generate this error i.e what you
were trying
