The same thing happens to me after a recent upgrade of OpenOffice on
Kubuntu (x86-based). OpenOffice gets as far as starting to display the

Hi there,
I experience the same thing on the Acer TravelMate 4500. With Fn F7 I
can switch off the touchpad and it does not happen again. I use an
external mouse instead of the touchpad.

I have the same problem since 2 days ago, while I tried to install some
programs. Now, after typing sudo apt get upgrade I get the next
message (I've posted the English output):

Please don't drop it. It is an unknown but useful counterpart to WinSCP
on Windows.
I added the following terminal settings to the file
/usr/local/lib/secpanel/termdefs (in 0.5.4, not available in 0.4.2) for
the XFCE desktop:
set termtype(XFCE-Terminal_titlepar) -T

You reported this bug a while ago. Regarding doc-linux in Intrepid, the
main packages doc-linux-text and doc-linux-html contains only material
in english and other languages have been split in separates packages
(those are rather old btw)
Is this still an issue ?

it has detected the dvd burner correctly. This is what I did:
