folders using Nautilus right click menu. After ubuntu installs samba I create a
user with smbpassw and edit the smb.conf so that workgroup matches my
workgroup.

Hello,
if the remote system is Solaris 10 it needs patch 119759-45 (on SPARC)
or 119060-44 (on x86), for Solaris 9 patch 112785-64 (SPARC) or
112786-53 (x86).
I don't know if the error occurs from other systems but at least the
Solaris patches work as expected.

It is possible that mdadm isn't faulty -- I have similar problems with
my root partition (JFS) since upgrade to hardy. I didn't originally
report it, because I was using fairly broken system and non-standart
suspend method (uswsusp), but now happened the same with intrepid.

Here is a workaround that can be enacted purely using non-root config:
1. Add the line unset SSH_AUTH_SOCK to ~/.xsessionrc (creating it if it
doesn't exist).
2. Run gnome-session-properties and untick GNOME Keyring Daemon Wrapper.
The first makes /etc/X11/Xsession.d/90x11-common_ssh-agent not

I've forgot to say that I've tested it with Asus P4V800D-X mainboard
based on PT880Ultra chipset Pentium 4 32bit (HT disabled) - that one on
which I've had problems with Dapper Drake 6.06.
