theo/tonio, if you follow bitinerant's procedure of completely
discharging the battery in os x and then allowing it to charge partially
in os x, then reboot into Ubuntu 8.10/9.04, is this symptom
reproducible?

Finailly got GDM too boot in low graphics session. Using jockey-gtk it
shows that no drivers are being used so i clicked activate and it says
its installing pacakages but nothing happens it brings me right back to
screen and it says its not active. Attaching xorg.conf

I can confirm this. The DVI displays properly in xdvi, but improperly in
evince. I'm running evince 2.24.1-0ubuntu1 on Intrepid.

fit for non-xos, On Acer One the screen is slightly too small to fit in
the work area.
