like asus-laptop.ko in the route /lib/modules/2.6.27-11/kernel/drivers/misc, I
think this file contains the bug with my asus x50gl laptop.

Thanks, but that is the intended behaviour and not a bug. Ubuntu doesn't
ship with any lsb-* modules installed, so this output is correct. Feel
free to install the various lsb-* modules yourself though.

I'd like to point out my usecase for this feature :) When an updated deb
is released, I'd like to wait a few days before applying it, as an
attempt to avoid oops we fixed this but broke that-patches.. So a
date column in Synaptic would greatly help.
