Just tested this on openSuse 11.1 and:
The kernel it came with (2.6.27.7-9 in SUSE-speak) did not have quirks
for any of the Apple keyboards. Predictably, the FN-key didn't work.

Hello,
I have a similar problem with my Toshiba L300-19F. My suspicion is that
the problem is because these Toshibas are not using Phoenix Bios
anymore, but the bios is from insyde. I believe this BIOS is not

A bit more details:
the 'parent' program that calls 'transcode' is dvd::rip (0.98.6) and the crash
only happens when transcoding a movie in 'cluster' mode - the two clusters are
actually running on the same PC and the goal of using clusters is to push the
program to use both of the CPU cores

Unfortunately modprobe segfaults when adding it in 2.6.28. Kernel module
development seems to be hell...

This issue is that a problem occurs (it is irrelevant how), and that the
packaging system knows the exact command to fix it, but instead of
fixing it just gives up and gives a gibberish dialog to the user.
