share when run under specific conditions outlined above - particularly
the fact that it was in a live CD session. Under my current, evolving

and crash, or ask me to force quit. This usually happens after a

I found that using xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.6.3-0ubuntu4 causing bugs with
i915.
Maybe xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.6.3-0ubuntu3 is to blame, because when I
don't use any of this packages everything works fine.

The bug is back. The edit in rc.local fixed it for 2-1/2 weeks, but
today the old fast-repeat misbehavior has returned on my USB keyboard,

I have a similar problem too. I am using a German keyboard layout and
after a while its still a German keyboard (like with Umlauts still
working) but AltGr keys dont work anymore. AltGr-Q should give @ (hard
to live without), but then it gives q. Same for other keys, no | anymore

Just wanted to add that the same brightness issues can be found on a
Acer 5315 laptop running Jaunty beta.
Adjusting volume work fine using the fn keys, but brightness does not.
The brightness OSD appears but I cannot change the brightness.

It seems that the dialogue only obtains focus the first time after
starting the computer. After suspending or hibernating the computer, the
dialogue will appear on top, but will for some reason not gain focus.
