On my system it also looks like it never suspend. But if screensaver and

Bummer. The greyscale icons in the notification area are not only very
ugly compared to their nice full color counterparts (like the bluetooth
icon) they are, more importantly, very hard to see and hence represent a
serious degradation in UI functionality.

Even using kb shortcuts to advance or rewind, flicker occurs and eventualy
looses focus forcing a mouse click to regain use of kb shortcuts.

But it works in metacity, are you sure it is something that Pidgin is missing?
I thought this bug was due to compiz not remembering the last location and size
of the windows, like metacity does.
Couldn't it be a job for the plugin "Place windows"?

The Application is on Local Server cant give u access due to security
