I believe i also suffer from this problem. My notes used to work, but
now they seem to open outside the visible screen. I have compiz on. For
average user this would be a major bug as it causes data loss when

my western digital usb hard disk is not recognized at all after upgrading to
karmic, doesn't show up in fdisk -l or lsusb. Don't want to remove
devicekit-disks because 78 other packages also will be removed then. I don't
know if this is the same bug as posted here but don't want to file a
maybe the best way is to do it intlligently
if user explicitly cancels then dont leave copy
but if it runs into a error or something like that then do leave a copy with a
message stating this if necessary.
