I believe it started to appear after some update for 9.04; after upgrade to
9.10 it happens much more often (lake every 2 days).
I do not see anything suspicious in logs (actually in most cases there is
nothing in logs at all for sometime before it happens) or in

I posted a reply several weeks ago. None of the suggestions improved
the situation. So then I changed frame buffer size in BIOS from 32 kB
to Automatic. The boot delay dropped from 9.5 minutes to ~15 seconds,
with total boot time of ~30 seconds. The scrolling difficulty in
firefox disappeared.

openarena in a VT and coming back to screen 7 (Xorg), the screen

Binary package hint: ubiquity
Latest lucid. Started ubiquity then clicked the update icon. It did some
'stuff' and when it seemed to finish the icon for updating greyed out. I
presume this means I'm updated. I then clicked 'forward' and got a box
telling me ubi-language
