I have just installed sage and suffer this too. The problem affects more
common things than only solving equations and diff/integrate. For
example, I take a very simple example from sect. 4.2 of Sage Reference

I have the same issue on Dell Latitude E4200, 1280x800 resolution, 5
icons on a row. The last row in System-Administration is only partially
visible (it has 5 icons too, so it does not even have to be the LAST
row).

I confirm that running the guest on a single CPU resolv this issue.
In fact hrtimer had an impact on the whole system. With a single CPU the
host have now a full 100Mbits throughput.
I've seen some patch in the kernel ML dealing with the hrtimer. Will

This is a little bit more tricky as it requires a search so i have
posted it seperatley.
I then need you to click Add attachment again then click browse and then
click on File system which should be located on the left hand side.
Then open var then open log and search for the messages text
What should be fixed in Nautilus to solve this bug? Is there anything I
can forward upstream to GNOME?

I was suffering this issue pretty frequently after installation of
Karmic, so I switched to wicd. Since then, it has only happened once in
several months (I was surprised about it, I thought it was an issue
specific to Network Manager).

Network Manager 0.7 doesn't use resolvconf to remove nameserver info if it
didn't use resolvconf for adding its nameserver info - wipes
