Autoregistration calls euca_conf --register-nodes correctly, and
euca_conf --register nodes returns 0 (SUCCESS). It writes the new node
IP to /var/lib/eucalyptus/nodes.list, but:

Sept. 2010; bug is still present, I still have to comment the send
host-name hostname; for Network Manager to send the string entered
into the 'DHCP Client ID' field. Otherwise it simply gets ignored.

It seems Eucalyptus (2.0~bzr1233-0ubuntu2) is storing certificates on
two different places, at least on a topology 1:
/var/lib/eucalyptus/keys for the CLC (and, probably, the Walrus, perhaps also
the SC)
Although I did it the hard way, I am almost sure that copying the CLC
certs over on the ./Cluster Name would do the trick.

Sorry but I have the same issue in a fresh installation on Ubuntu Server
10.04. On server boot openvpn autostart fail, but after the login when I

I rebooted the computer fixing the package with the --configure -a as the
package manager requested.
I have managed to apply all the upgrades that the upgrade manager required
except the mysql 5.1 upgrade. And rebooted again.
I attempted to do the mysql upgrade separately. After
I've added all of the packages that depend on libdbi0 as bug tasks.
Once libdbi is fixed, each one of them will need to be rebuilt against
the new version.
Since the ABI changed, the -dev library needs to be named libdbi-dev,
not libdbi0-dev.
In the process of doing this, I've found that the

For some time the agent responsible for caching ssh passwords is Gnome
Keyring and dialog is displayed by gnome-keyring-prompt. Gnome Keyring,

There was two issues for me.
One, I did sudo gconf-editor This edits the wrong gconf files. You should
run this with the user that starts vino.
The second I used a port below 5000 which vino doesn't support. It supports
5000 port 5 if I remember correctly.

I tried this after rebooting, and I get the kernel crash on first use of
the command:

This error can be recreated at will...

Could you please install chromium-browser-dbg and try to get a new trace ?
(installing libc6-dbg libglib2.0-0-dbg and libgtk2.0-0-dbg should
improve the trace too)

The last kernel update fixes the suspend/resume problem reported in but
#578673 for the DELL E6410 with I5 processor and INTEL HD graphics, but
the screen resumes dimmed out after suspend. Brightness can be restored
with the appropriate keyboard key.
