More than a bug I think it's human error as specified in the notice of
the package the risk of any unexpected deletion of files. Nevertheless,
I think is actually not necessary keep packages harmful to the system
in the repository, or possibly eliminate the risk reported by the
package itself.
Note that I tried Debian's build of GCC, with the same issue. But, if I
build the source straight from mozilla-central, then I don't have any
issues (with either build of GCC).
Building our package without DEB_BUILD_HARDENING makes the problem go

Same issue on a Dell Latitude E4200. Suspend to RAM and Hibernation were
working in Lucid.
In 10.10 (2.6.35-22-generic) Hibernation does not work (100%
reproducible). It freezes after the vt switch.
