In Apache's error.log, the error happened at some point between 10:00:39
and 10:01:18, so I have included a much-reduced access.log with all PHP
files executed between those time points on that day, appropriately
sanitised. Hopefully it will prove useful.

In the new kernel 2.6.37, my flash disk can be recognized with 2
partitions, but the CD partition still cannot be recognized.
At least most data can be read, but only under 11.04 natty.

remarks itself after closing and reopening the option window.

Just to add to the stack trace in comment #37, I installed the dbg
packages and generated the same segfault. The important extra
information is:

The state in lucid is really problematic. Afaik, the init.d scripts are
supposed to provide wrappers for upstart in the transition period, and
we are using them in a lot of old scripts to manage our fleet. Reloading
ssh with /etc/init.d/ssh reload resulted in a weird state where
upstart believes
another workaround (really ugly) is to deactivate images in firefox...
but as you can imagine, it's not a solution.

Same problem here on 10.04 LTS with this wifi chip. Used to work
flawlessly on 9.10... Am not moving to 10.10 until this is sorted out.
I'm not sure whether it is a driver problem or a network manager
problem, however when I run :
sudo restart network-manager
Suddenly I can connect again.

I experience the same since several Ubuntu versions, now I'm on 10.10 x64.
The problem occurs when specifying your own ppd file which can't be copied to
/etc/cups/ppd/ because the user isn't allowed to do so.
Either change the rights of /etc/cups/ppd/ or use priviledge elevation.
