I am experiencing the same as bonne I believe. Connecting a screen makes
the system freeze. Booting with external monitor and the computer stops.
No blinking keyboard though.
Output of uname -a
laptop 2.6.32-22-generic #36-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 3 19:31:57 UTC 2010 x86_64
