I can confirm that the fix works as expected, here's the output of my test.
I started a bash shell as tomcat6 in a shell, then ran the following commands
on an up to date lucid system (with -updates and -security)

machine to maverick and needed to set up a virtual machine to test.
It probably needs a test by the person who needed the AUTHBIND setting to make

I think we should fix update-maintainer to not touch the Maintainer in
the case of a rebuild.
That does mean that you can't run update-maintainer until you've changed
the changelog, but it's certainly another solution to this, yes. An

Not sure what has happened in the last few days to change this situation, but I
now find that the problem described has gone away. I can use the full
connectivity of the KDE utilities referred to above with the Kensington mouse.
Accordingly, I wish to withdraw this bug report. I don't know how
I'd like to add something peculiar.
If the fan isn't running when the system boots, the fan will never spin
up.
But if I restart the system when it's really hot and wait at the GRUB
boot prompt until the fan kicks in, the fan will stay on and not change
speeds.

I just did a fresh install of 10.10 on a Dell Inspiron E1705, which
has the 3945ABG (rev 02) wifi card and my wifi speed is not reduced

current one from the Update Manager.

Binary package hint: kpackagekit
The KPackageKit package required libpackagekit-qt-14, which is no longer
available since the last PackageKit upload.
Could you please just do a no-change rebuild on KPackageKit to pick up the new
library package name? (The package is named
Kernel 2.6.37 panicked immediately (with the NVIDIA driver having been
compiled with gcc4.4).

Anyway it can gain your attention only if you are looking at the
screen in the moment that it glows to blue, but after that moment it
looks almost exactly as normally.
