I've triggered this a couple of times today.
My .xsession-errors has:
failed to attach dri2 back buffer 4
arrowValue 0
arrowValue 0
arrowValue 0
drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -35. Kernel failed to parse or rejected command stream. See
dmesg for more info.
and the dmesg has
