I had this bug on my sony vpcz11x9r too. It has synaptics touchpad
without multitouch, but now I am able to scroll with two fingers! Can

I tested CIFS mounting and VLC playback (of a H264 video) through it and
I was not able to SEEK the video (this also happened in a MP3 file) and
VLC did not showed the right duration of the video nor the actual
position... How can I solve this?

I have rechecked Audacity in Natty, and still have a problem. As i
stated earlier, the audio seems to be detected and displayed, but when I
go to the 'File' menu all the 'Export' options are blacked out. I

Every process is killed with kill -15.
A kill -15 will send the program a SIGTERM command, if it has been written
correctly it will recognise this and try to shut down the process cleanly·
So this is not an Ubuntu issue.

OK, the solution is to edit /etc/NetworkManager/nm-system-settings.conf
and set managed=true . That made it work for me.
