I noticed that when this problem occurs opening a wallet also seems to
hang. The wallet opens but the wallet looks empty and it is not possible
to add or delete entries. Once the KDE wallet subsystem is disabled and
reenabled, the wallet works again. This might be more of a KDE wallet
problem,
After some reflection, I think my previous post is not relevant to this bug.
I am however able to reproduce the original behavior (Enable Mobile Broadband
becomes unchecked at reboot), also on my 32 bit netbook.

Those errors are from gconf, and other applications have the same issue
too. In any case, those errors aren't fatal, and the only thing that
