panel worked after that. So that's promising; I need to test full
suspend-resume cycles while not docked to make sure. xrandr --output
eDP1 --scale .9x.9 now scales the panel. Changing it back to 1x1 just
hung the computer,

SolidSlash (solidslash): it might be that recent kernel tweaks for ACPI

Just updated 11.10 on my 32-bit Netbook, and it, too, is forgetting
'network secrets' on each WiFi network!
Seems like the amd64 problem has propagated to the 32 bit world
Also, there is no 'Available to all users' option AT ALL at this point.
