And after that it stopped to work, I do not know why LightDM stopped to work,

sounds more of a lightdm issue since LightDM itself does not start so
Unity is not to blame here.
Also instead of KDM try GDM and make sure to run the command 'unity
--reset' in the GDM session. you seem to have enabled some non standard
plugins from CCSM as well.

I have packaged cagibi 0.2, libhupnp1 and kio-upnp-ms 1.0.0, as well as
repackaged kdelibs with solid upnp backend, for precise. The debs can
be found at https://launchpad.net/~carlos-demaine/+archive/ppa ... They
work for me, device notifier and dolphin show the upnp shares and the
kioslave
Feel free to re-open the bug also add a bit about your system ;-)
I have SandyBridge and don't have the issue.

HUD - blurred background
Update: installed daily x64 daily 12.10 build, but issues with shutdown
and reboot persisted. However, after downgrading to 32-bit version of
12.04, all issues appear to be resolved. I'm satisfied with this
arrangement, although I'm still puzzled as to why the 64-bit install was
so error prone,
Unless there are steps to reproduce the problem, its relatively
difficult to debug the issue. If it happens again and you find a way to
reproduce the issue please let us know.

Sorry I missed it. Is that a permanent issue. i.e. does it happen even
after you log out/restart? or was it a one time issue.
Is the issue also happening in a guest session for you?
