The result is, that the error message in the log file disappeared. The
3.7 kernel has other problems,

my ich8 ad1988 can suspend and resume in fedora 10 for several years but
it cannot suspend resume after a fresh install of ubuntu 12.04
how did you remove pulseaudio ?
is the removal of pulseaudio officially supported by ubuntu 12.10 ?
did you loss the sound preference ?
are you using xfce ,
clearly there should be a wrapper written which sets
DOKO_VERBOSE_MODE sets up a sane build environment for any sane or
insane build machineries out there.
;-) thanks for trianging this, it's enough information to patch libxml2
and get it to build again.
