it successfully. On my system it makes the iBus icon appear reliably on
the menu bar.
It should be noted that im-switch packages (Quantal and Precise) with
basically the same change have been available for testing in my PPA
I am using Ubuntu 12.10, and this is certainly _NOT_ fixed.
For a great example of how tabs should look, take a look at Google
Chrome. Those tabs are just right...

I 've been experiencing the exact same problem with Ubuntu Precise LTSP
fat clients and gnome-fallback-session. I am using it in a computer lab
and it's quite disruptive, with the empty top panel appearing in at
least 1 out of 10 logins. I have also noticed both panels disappearing
in the middle

I can reproduce this, but it doesn't appear that this is a bug to me.
The mysql job retries the connection until the daemon is ready, and then
runs any database upgrades that are necessary. So the first one or two
