Ubuntu pulls from github is that we don't use the embedded libs3 or
leveldb as distributed at http://ceph.com/download/.
I would suspect that this file gets stripped out during the automatic

There are --with-system-libs3 and --with-system-leveldb configure flags

Today my system crashed 2 times while running the radeon-driver and
supertuxkart (both from oibaf's repository)...
But I found (at least for me) a way to reproduce a freeze:
1. Start system.
2. Open terminal and type supertuxkart. Install this, if you havent done

One of my main selling points when encouraging my friends and family
to switch to Linux (and Ubuntu in particular) has been that restarts are
seldom necessary - hitherto proudly displayed by the Restart Later
button.
Incidentally, I'm not aware of any equivalent to the workaround

Hangs like this have been happeneing randomly for me, since the 12.04
release. Again, the hang is mostly screen freezes, except for mouse.

On my laptopconfiguration (proprietary NVidia drivers), resizing the Scratch
window does not work: the window becomes black, and start shrinking on its
own.The only solution is to quit the application and restart it.
This make the application unusable for a kid

I've configured sslh with both apache an ssh services to run in port
443. I also configured my main wired interface to listen and redirect
requests to them. When I start it manually (sudo service sslh start) it
starts normally, but after rebooting, the service is not

I had this problem too in Ubuntu 12.04. So, I removed mplayer2 and
installed mplayer:
sudo apt-get purge mplayer2
sudo apt-get install gecko-mediaplayer
