explained above.
I had to delete both /boot/initrd.img from 12.10 and 13.04 to get the
installation process to complete satisfactorily, but the system has now
booted into 13.04.

Mike, you can simply create a second print queue with the Gutenprint
driver. If the Canon driver gets assigned automatically, simply right-
click the printer's icon on system-config-printer's main screen, select
Properties, and in the properties dialog, click the Change button
near Make and Model.
Public bug reported:
Following text (begin)

cause vim to create invalid markup inside README.md files (too much
blacked text).
ProblemType: Bug
DistroRelease: Ubuntu 13.04
Package: vim 2:7.3.547-6ubuntu5
Uname: Linux 3.9.0-rc6+ i686
Public bug reported:
Gedit has just crashed, but I was not offered the option to report the crash.
The only options I was offered were:
- leave closed
- relaunch
and there was a view details button.
There should be another button or checkbox to file a bug report on
launchpad, it doesn't matter
Please follow the instructions of the sections CUPS error_log and
Capturing print job data on
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingPrintingProblems. Thanks.
