13.10 Saucy 64-bit - Xubuntu
The update manager restarts and crashes over and over again on it's own
accord.
If it matters, I misstyped the password at my first try.
At the moment I DO use a custom stable kernel, 3.4.59. But I don't know
if it matters at this moment.

Public bug reported:
Hello,
on Saucy I can't copy files from my digital camera to my PC anymore via
file manager. This is a serious regression since it worked on all
previous version of Ubuntu since Lucid at least (even earlier versions
not tested because I didn't own the camera at that time).

Andrea, please be more careful with such broad statements. LP has the
option to reopen tickets for a reason. People are apparently still
affected, we are still waiting for a precise package and Barry himself
said that he wants to look at the issue again after raring.
Reopening.

Ok, on this 4th go-round, while using firefox to look at this bug
report, it killed all processes logged me out. I was able to log back
in, and found that I have only succeeded in copying 375G.

Plugin scripts use gksu but does not include a dependency
It has been a lot of time since reporting the bug. It's just too slow
for me (the way things happen concerning my problems on Ubuntu).
So I don't use this release anymore (13.04).

I may try testing it using a LiveCD of 13.04. Is it okay?
