I noticed after a recent apt-get dist-upgrade asterisk stopped working.
Thank you for the workaround, I added noload = res_pjsip.so to
/etc/asterisk/modules.conf and now it starts again. There are still a
bunch of warnings in the log however, e.g.:

Ok, Seth, I found that I can see this in a VM when using the original
Trusty release desktop 64bit ISO:
- boot into Try Ubuntu
- open a terminal (uxterm works best for me due to this stupid gfx bugs with
Cirrus)
- ls /tmp (contains some files already)
- sudo apt-get update
- sudo apt-get install

I will have to verify in the Ubuntu source, but this seems like this is an
issue that was solved previously by commit

Hmm, I see the following in the launchpad bug. Not sure how to interpret this
but I think we need this for both Wily and Trusty LTS..
