The issue would go away with a factory reset but after doing updates it
would reappear.

The last update of Ubuntu 16.04 (kernel 4.4.0-36 to 4.4.0-38) reduced
the failure to reconnect of my Microsoft Sculpt Comfort BT mouse from
90% to 15%. Something improved a lot. The fix I have been using was to
pull up the settings/bluetooth, turn off bluetooth (it says on when the
window is
4.8 seems to fix it. Got a number of warnings about possible missing
firmware for Radeon, not sure if it matters.

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1626233, so is being marked as such.
By the way, Debian's adduser requires the first character to be a
letter. I filed bug 1630417 for that issue.
This commit broke string freeze. If we backport this to Ubuntu 16.04
LTS, we want to do it without changing the hint string, right?

I don't have a printer here and the panel doesn't crash for me. I did a
new upload of gnome-control-center today to yakkety. I don't think it
would affect this crash but could someone try 1:3.20.1-2ubuntu2 to

Debian's adduser does not allow the initial character of a username to
be a digit. It would be nice if (unity/gnome)-control-center could
detect this and disallow it or recommend against it.
