The same problem here. Upgraded from 16.04 to 16.10. When using network manager
for connecting to cisco VPN (network-manager-openconnect), DNS does not work at
all. Even public domains are not resolved.

I've the UX303UB with kernel 4.8 and Ubuntu 16.10.
I have the same problem but "acpi_osi=" in the grub file is working for me but
the ambient-light sensor (fn+A) isn't working.

I only have Wifi. No fixed ethernet. Maybe that is part of the problem?
Maybe the indicator assumes the first ethernet is always fixed ethernet,
and puts that symbol on it?

Hallo
I just noticed that as soon as I type something the window background becomes
transparent even if gedit still working and focused

Same with Nvidia GT750M (on Macbook Pro). The freeze happened while
trying to use Browser.
When I returned to Unity 7:
- desktop scaling was screwed. Icons and window contents were too big compared
to menu and title bars
- I suddenly had an Amazon icon in the launcher. When clicking on it
